A brief history of National Garden Gift Vouchers
- 1962 - HTA introduce National Garden Gift Tokens; a gift idea for gardeners both new and
old. The aim is that they become available to be bought and sold nationwide for the convenience and enjoyment of UK gardeners' and in support of the Horticultural Industry - 1987 - National Garden Gift Tokens celebrate their 25th Anniversary
- 2000 - National Garden Gift Tokens become National Garden Gift Vouchers
- 2003 - HTA begin to offer National Garden Gift Vouchers online at www.thevouchergarden.co.uk
- 2004 - National Garden Gift Vouchers get a new look with a new logo and voucher designs
- 2006 - The £25 voucher is introduced
- 2012 – National Garden Gift Vouchers celebrates its 50th anniversary with a £50 voucher
